What is the date, time, and location of the event?
Are children and pets allowed?

Walk 4 Prostate Cancer is taking place on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 10am EDT. The walk will be held at Cape Henlopen State Park, 15099 Cape Henlopen Dr, Lewes, DE 19958. Participants of all ages are permitted; however, they must be registered. Pets are permitted as well; however, they must be on a leash.

What is my registration fee for the walk?

Registration costs $40 per person and includes a t-shirt (registration closes on September 6 at midnight EDT). Please Note: This event is a fundraiser which means a portion of your registration fee will be donated to the Hope Foundation.

Are refunds or registration transfers permitted?
If the it rains, will the event be canceled?

Seeing as this event is a fundraiser, refunds and registration transfers are not permitted. In the event of rain, the event will not be canceled. The event will take place––rain or shine.

Is there a fee to register as a vendor?
What is included with vendor registration?

If you're interested in becoming a vendor, there is a $75 registration fee. The fee includes one (1) table, two (2) chairs, and one (1) tablecloth. If you're interested in becoming a vendor, please click here to send us an email (be sure to include the word "Vendor" in the subject line.

How can I register as a volunteer for this race?

Is parking available?
Is there a fee?

Yes, there is a fee for parking at Cape Henlopen State Park. The fee is $5 for Delaware license plates and $10 for all other license plates.

How long is the trail/walk?

The trail/walk is 5 kilometers (3.1 miles). Check out a preview of the trail below:

What can I expect at the Walk 4 Prostate Cancer event?
What should I wear?

You can expect to enjoy music performances and other fun activities. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and weather approriate attire.

Will water be provided to race participants?
Will medical personnel be on the premises?

Yes, water will be available at the start, finish, one mile, and two mile marks. In addition, we will have medical personnel along the path of the walk in case of an emergency.

Will there be awards and recognition?

Yes, there will be participant medals and other forms of recognition issued during the event.
